Mobile Moments

Have we reached Peak App?

Apps represent more than 80% mobile minutes in 10 global markets studied, and have created new usage patterns for almost every industry and demographic group, but new data suggests that consumers broadly are downloading fewer apps per person. Have we reached saturation point? Using current and historic data from More than 10 countries across all continents, we will explore trends within the app environment to understand potential for future growth, and understand where it is likely to come from. Framing apps within the broader digital landscape, we will investigate the significance of apps in overall growth, and what factors might play a part in the prospects for mobile apps in the future.
