Job Title: Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Location: Reston, VA / Remote

The Digital Foundation Engineering team is responsible for building the infrastructure we use to enrich and classify our data assets.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to join and lead this team.

What You’ll Need:

• 4 - 7 years of professional programming experience3 - 8 years of managing engineering teams
• You have a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• You have a strong affinity towards working with data
• You enjoy working as a member of team and consider feedback a learning opportunity
• You are comfortable in an environment that values quickly providing our customers with solutions
• You are a strong communicator
• The following are considered a plus:
• You have prior experience building high performing web services.
• You have prior experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, MPP databases)
• You have prior experience in the audience measurement or campaign measurement space

Technologies we use:  Previous experience in these technologies is not required. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge:

• AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, SQS, EMR) SparkSQL Server/Postgres, JavaSQL (CTEs, window functions, UDFs, etc.)
• An internal framework for job scheduling and execution (similar to AirFlow)
