International Recruitment Manager

Job Title: International Recruitment Manager 

Location: The Netherlands / Germany / Spain / UK 

 

This position is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, but remote working is possible from one of the countries mentioned above. 

 

 

About This Role: 

 

In this dual role, you will be responsible for leading Comscore’s international (EMEA and APAC) recruitment team as well as individually leading full life cycle recruiting efforts for critical mid and senior level positions within multiple business units as well as other key searches within the organization as assigned.  Utilizing your strong people management skills, you will direct the efforts of the recruitment team to accomplish the company’s hiring objectives in our international markets.  

 

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a (International) team while also managing their own requisition load individually. A strong understanding of IT and Software engineering, new technologies in Big Data, data analysis and data science is important.  A passion for the internet and the digital world is also a valuable attribute with exposure to the online media/ digital advertising industry being a big plus.    

 

You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and the company’s senior international management to develop recruiting plans to identify, screen, offer, and negotiate with both active and passive job seekers.  Additionally, you will partner with the Global Director Recruitment  and other key members of the Human Resources team to design and implement new recruiting strategies, as well as track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends. 

 

 

What You'll Do: 

 

  • Full life cycle recruiting responsibilities for mid and senior level positions across our international operations in Europe and Asia-Pacific. 

  • Manage direct reports (6) in Europe, and Asia-Pacific and assign requisitions and recruitment related projects to them as needed. 

  • Partner closely with the Global Director of Recruitment to design and implement new recruiting strategies and employment branding efforts, as well as develop, track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends. 

  • Partner with key regional and country leaders as well as hiring managers and other key decision makers to identify staffing needs, position requirements and recruiting strategies.  Build relationships with these groups by attending department meetings and working one on one with decision makers.  

  • Establish and maintain aggressive pipeline of viable candidates for Comscore’s international needs and utilize digital recruiting sources such as major and niche job boards, professional networking sites, user groups and list-serves, blogs, social media, and direct sourcing to identify and recruit qualified passive and active candidates. 

  • Review applications, interview and screen applicants to assess their qualifications related to work history, education, training, job skills, and salary expectations and overall fit for the organization.

  • Stay abreast of new technologies, tools and processes that are impacting our industry, and being utilized within our business, and for which talent is being sought. 

 

 

What You'll Need: 

 

  • 7+ years of experience in a fast paced, full life cycle International recruiting environment.  Applicants with a combination of staffing industry, recruiting agency, and/or corporate recruiting experience strongly preferred. 

  • 1-3 years of experience managing recruitment staff. 

  • Proven ability to identify recruiting needs and execute concise recruitment tasks within the broader talent acquisition strategy.  Ability to think out of the box and help devise creative solutions and strategies to help drive overall international recruitment approach. 

  • Prior experience with partnering with senior level executives to address their hiring needs.   

  • Experience with supporting multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams. 

  • Experience with advanced search techniques to attract and qualify active and passive candidates and experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment, with expertise in filling critical senior positions. 

  • Strong preference for recruiting in related industries such as IT, Digital Advertising (AdTech), Market Research, Software Technology, Data Analytics/Big Data or Online Media 

  • Ability to multi-task autonomously in an extremely fast-paced environment, switching between priorities as needed 

  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team-oriented structure 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. 

  • Excellent skills in MS Office, and in-depth experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is required.  Experience with Workdayis a plus. 

  • Familiarity with legal hiring rules/regulations in Europe, APAC strongly preferred.
