IT Support Engineer

About This Role:

Comscore is looking for a customer service-minded IT Support Specialist to join our local site support team in our Reston, VA office. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for onboarding/offboarding of employees, imaging and repair of workstation hardware, software installation and related updates, asset management, white glove support for executive leadership and various other IT projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serves as local IT support for set-up and distribution of workstations to all users
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots workstation systems, desktop hardware and peripherals in the local office and remote
  • Responds to user problems, determines appropriate response, and resolves issues
  • Answers questions and communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Participates in the implementation of IT and infrastructure projects
  • Occassional white glove executive leadership support
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Desktop/IT Support role, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Responsiveness with the ability to engage end users in a professional and friendly manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS plus standard commercial applications (Office, Teams)
  • Familiarity with enterprise level tools like Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint/Intune, computer imaging and Active Directory domain concepts, encryption and Zoom meeting services.
  • Ability to diagnose PC hardware and software
  • Experience with ticket tracking software such as JIRA ServiceDesk, ServiceNow
